Don is an extreme advocate. His lifelong dedication to quality of life has benefitted more than 150 non-profit organizations at the local, regional, and national level.
In 2003, when NBC offered him the chance to star in the hit reality television show, Who Wants to Marry My Dad, Don jumped at the opportunity to use his national exposure to support as many philanthropic efforts as possible.
The show was viewed by over 100,000,000 people worldwide.
Some of the associations Don has championed either financially or personally include, but are not limited to, American Cancer Society, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, UC Cancer Institute, Doctors Without Borders, MDA, Down Syndrome Association, Make a Wish Foundation, Pregnancy Care of Cincinnati, Operation Smile, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Xavier University, United Way, American Heart Association, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and LAM Foundation.
